Can I continue to use Adobe Acrobat Reader during my Acrobat Pro trial period?
Acrobat Pro DC will be set as your default PDF viewer, but you can reset Reader as the default by opening Reader DC application and going to Edit > Preferences > General. Click on the Select As Default PDF Handler button and follow the on-screen instructions.
Windows: To uninstall your trial version on a Windows device, close any open Adobe software on your computer, open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Programs and Features. Click on Acrobat Pro DC, and select “Uninstall” from the menu.
Mac OS: To remove the trial on a Mac, use the Acrobat Uninstaller in the /Applications/Adobe Acrobat Pro DC folder.

If you've purchased Acrobat Pro DC or Standard DC as a subscription, follow the instructions below based on your operating system.
Download and install on Windows
Go to https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/appcenter/, and sign in with your Adobe ID and password, or with your social (Facebook or Google) account.
After you sign in, the Adobe Acrobat Pro / Standard download page appears. Click Download.
Note:
A binary setup file is downloaded. It's not a complete installer. When you run the file, the actual download and installation starts.
Based on which browser you're using, follow the instructions below:
Internet Explorer
You see a prompt at the bottom of the window asking you to Save or Run the file. Click Run and then skip to the next step.
a. You see a file download prompt. Click Save File.
b. You can see the downloaded exe file by clicking the Show All Downloads icon in the upper-right corner of the window. Double-click the exe file, and skip to the next step.
Note:
Press Ctrl+J to open the Firefox Library dialog box. You can see the downloaded .exe file under Downloads. The filename starts with 'acrobatproDC.'
Chrome
You can see the downloaded exe file in the lower-left corner of the browser window. Double-click the exe file, and skip to the next step.
Note:
If you cannot locate the downloaded file, open Windows Explorer and then select the Downloads folder in the left navigation pane. Double-click the downloaded setup file.
The User Account Control prompt appears. Click Yes.
The installer starts downloading and installing Acrobat.
After the installation is complete, click Launch Acrobat.
You may be asked to sign in. Sign in with your Adobe ID and password.
Note:
If you see a warning message saying your Acrobat subscription cannot be validated, click the Continue in Trial button.
Download and install on Mac OS
Note:
Acrobat Standard DC is a Windows-only offering, and is not available on Mac OS.

Note:
If you see a warning message saying your Acrobat subscription cannot be validated, click the Continue in Trial button. When you launch Acrobat next time and sign in, the validation problem is resolved.
